Kitbashing Warhammer 40k Grey Knights, Size Comparison – WIP

Kitbashing Warhammer 40k Grey Knights, Size Comparison - WIP

With the new 2021 Codex, Grey Knights doubled their wounds count, but the models stayed the same. This is a good excuse to kit bash some true-scale Grey Knights using Heavy Intercessor and Grey Knights Terminator boxes!

Where did this extra wound come from in the new GK Codex? Is it improved power armor with bulkier plating and more automated internal injectors to keep a Daemonhunter active on a mission for longer? Sure, why not!?

For all their bulk, the Heavy Intercessors used for this Grey Knights kit bash are about the size of a Havoc. So who knows, maybe one day we could get a T5 Daemonhunters?

The Heavy Intercessor conversion Grey Knights end up towering over the older metal terminators and paladins. The extra bulk of the conversion leaves more space for the power armor internal mechanisms: an exoskeleton, controllers, power plant, stim-injectors, warding runes, books and scrolls, and the likes.

“We are going that way!” – Coteaz Justicar Conversion

“Let me see what this library tome says about this area first.” – Heavy Intercessors Captain Conversion (that maybe will get painted, one day, maybe?)
